Thank you for visiting my Web Site and for your interest in coaching.
I became interested in the coaching process several years ago because
it seemed a far more positive vehicle for change than traditional
counseling. I practice Co-Active Coaching which empowers the client.
The coaching relationship is all about you while youre
considered creative and whole. Very different from traditional
therapy assumptions.
I have 20 years of experience as a mental health and Employee
Assistance (EA) Counselor. Im licensed in KS as a Clinical
Professional Counselor and in MO as a Professional Counselor. Im,
also, a Certified Employee Assistance Professional. I was Lead Counselor
for Sprints Employee Assistance Program for 10 years.
My EA work has required that I develop skills to help resolve
a wide range of client concerns (e.g., work related difficulties,
career development, marital issues, parent-child problems, adolescent
behavioral concerns, stress and anxiety disorders, depression, etc...).
Employee Assistance work is consistent with coaching, i.e., it
is goal oriented, dynamic, short term and solution oriented.
I believe that my experience as an EA professional has prepared
me for performing well as your coach.
